1. Relaxing in Seongsu-dong

After a short break, I headed to Seongsu-dong, a neighborhood known for its cute cafes and restaurants. I visited a spacious cafe filled with plants, where each floor had a different vibe. The rooftop was perfect for working, and the carrot cake paired with an iced americano was delicious—moist and not too sweet. The third floor even had a ceramics shop with surprisingly affordable prices. Exploring the streets, I checked out various pop-up stores, including a fun Rom&nd event with

2. Treasure Hunting at Dongmyo Flea Market

[my_map local=»Dongmyo»]

Dongmyo Flea Market is a must-visit for vintage lovers. It opens every day and sells everything from electronics and old books to vintage clothing. You can find clothes and bags for just a few dollars, and there’s a huge variety of kitchenware. I stopped by my favorite shop to dig through their collection of vintage plates—it truly felt like a treasure hunt, and I managed to snag some pastel plates for a bargain.

3. Rainy Day Cafe & Ramen

On a rainy day, I visited a unique cafe based on Korean folklore, featuring elements of earth, fire, water, and wind. The sound of rain combined with a warm cup of coffee created the perfect atmosphere for focusing. For lunch, nothing beats a hot bowl of ramen. I ordered a Shio Ramen with a refreshing yuzu sauce, which was the perfect comfort food for the gloomy weather.

4. Seosulla-gil and Art Exhibitions

When the sun came back out, I went to Seosulla-gil. I found a cozy cafe playing soft jazz LP records, famous for its Dutch coffee and egg sandwiches. It was a peaceful spot to enjoy the afternoon. Later, I visited an exhibition featuring Ron Mueck, known for his hyper-realistic sculptures. The level of detail in the artwork was fascinating and slightly eerie. Seoul really does offer endless spots to explore, from vintage markets to modern art galleries.
